Ekynavy is a digital logbook designed for maritime navigation.
The application is designed to meet the functional requirements applicable to navigation logbooks as defined by the international conventions SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) and FAL (Facilitation of International Maritime Traffic), particularly regarding traceability, timestamping, data retention, and offline availability.
Ekynavy does not constitute an official record within the meaning of the MARPOL convention and does not replace mandatory environmental logbooks (Oil Record Book, Garbage Record Book, Ballast Water Record Book, or any other MARPOL record).
The use of Ekynavy as an official logbook is subject to acceptance by the competent authority of the vessel's flag state.
The shipowner and the captain remain solely responsible for compliance with the regulatory obligations applicable to their vessel.
By using Ekynavy, you agree to these terms of service. Please read them carefully.
IMPORTANT: The user acknowledges using Ekynavy at their own risk and peril. All data provided (GPS, weather, tides, forecasts) is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional navigation advice. Users must ALWAYS verify this information with official sources (national weather services, harbour masters, hydrographic services) before any navigation. Ekynavy does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the data, particularly data from third-party providers (Open-Meteo, tide services, etc.). The captain or skipper remains SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for all navigation decisions and safety on board. Ekynavy is a supplementary tool that in no way replaces approved navigation equipment, official nautical charts, or the mariner's judgment.
Ekynavy is a maritime GPS tracking application allowing you to record your routes, manage your boats, and visualize your journeys.
You agree to use the service responsibly, not to use it for illegal activities, and to comply with maritime regulations.
Ekynavy does not guarantee absolute GPS accuracy. Do not use it as your sole means of navigation. You are responsible for your safety at sea.
You can delete your account at any time. Ekynavy may suspend an account in case of abuse.
We reserve the right to modify these terms. Major changes will be notified to you.
These terms are governed by Swiss law.

If there is a payment issue when renewing your paid subscription, you benefit from a 28-day grace period during which you retain access to all your features. This grace period applies only to renewals of existing paid subscriptions.
